The Electaurus, stylized in The Simpsons as the Elec-Taurus, is an unlockable vehicle in The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Like all other player owned cars this vehicle may be accessed via phone booths at any time, on any level.
The car is the players prize for winning all of the Street Races in Level 1 and is based of a car that the Simpsons family tested in one episode. In Levels 4, 5 and 6, Lisa occupies the driver's seat, like with the Malibu Stacy Car.
The Electaurus handles the road very well, with the ability to make highly responsive turns on sharp corners, thus making it a fairly-easy-to-use vehicle in the early parts of the game. However, its below average speed, acceleration, and toughness make it difficult to pursue most mission objectives.
- As Lisa appears driving the Electaurus when it is called via phone booth in Levels 4, 5 and 6, this is a reference to The Simpsons: Road Rage, where this was her main car.
- This is the only car not to make an engine noise, due to it being a prototype electric car.
- In pirated PC versions of the game, entering the Electaurus causes the game to crash.
- The Electaurus appeared in the episode Beyond Blunderdome of the show.
