The Canyonero is an unlockable vehicle in The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Like all other player owned cars this vehicle may be accessed via phone booths at any time, on any level. This is the first vehicle the player is forced to use during a mission.

Description[]

The Canyonero is a massive red SUV with deep blue tinted windows. It has a pair of cross bars on the roof and is adorned with chrome trimming along the bottom edges. A single side step accompanies each side to compensate for the car's huge lift. Finally, in the back portion of the vehicle there appears to be a large amount of groceries contained in the back. In Levels 2, 5, 6, and 7, Marge occupies the driver's seat. The car bears a strong resemblance to the real life 1968 Jeep Wagoneer.

Tips[]

The Canyonero is the toughest starter vehicle in the game, and it also has the greatest mass. This makes it a viable choice for Destroy Objectives, as it can easily move the target vehicle into obstacles, dealing a great amount of damage in the process. Other than that, it possesses decent speed and handling for a Level 4 vehicle. However, its acceleration is subpar, so building up speed will take some time.

The Canyonero's center of gravity is very high compared to other vehicles in the game, and as such, is prone to being tipped on its sides.

Mission Appearances[]

Level 1[]

  • Bonestorm Storm
    • Homer joins Marge as she uses the Canyonero to hit the Bonestorm Truck and collect all the copies of Bonestorm II

Trivia[]

  • The Canyonero is a car briefly owned by Homer and then Marge Simpson in the episode "Marge Simpson in: "Screaming Yellow Honkers"".
  • Like with any vehicles with a roof, Marge's default hairdo will bend back as it pushes against the ceiling whenever she drives the Canyonero.
  • The Canyonero is the only starting vehicle in the game that does not sport an open roof unlike all other starting vehicles.
