The Car Built For Homer is an unlockable vehicle in The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Like all other player owned cars this vehicle may be accessed via phone booths at any time, on any level.
Description[]
The Car Built For Homer is a car designed by Homer at Powell Motors, and as such is a ridiculous vehicle from the get-go. It is a massive greenish-yellow sports car with outlandish features adorning the car. The rear sports a behemoth of a spoiler, and in the middle two bubble domes (one with a horn that plays "La Cucaracha"), and the front holds a metal bowler as a hood ornament.

The Car Built For Homer is the fastest vehicle in Level 5, meaning it easily surpasses the other vehicles in the level when it comes to completing general mission objectives, and it has good acceleration to boot. It also packs good toughness and mass, allowing to easily destroy target vehicles in Destroy Objectives. The decent handling gives it some leeway in its ability to turn around corners as well. These highly well-rounded stats make the Car Built For Homer an excellent choice for a conventional vehicle.

Trivia[]
- The car can be seen in "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?," when Homer gets free reign over what his own car would look like.
- Like Mr. Plow, despite being designed and purchased from Homer, he doesn't drive this vehicle in Levels 3 and 4.
- When the notice appears that the player needs to purchase the vehicle to complete "Eight is Too Much", it refers to the vehicle as the "Custom Built Car".
