Not to be confused with Hallo Hearse.

The Hearse is an unlockable vehicle in The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Like all other player owned cars this vehicle may be accessed via phone booths at any time, on any level.

Description[]

The Hearse is a black hearse with flames extending from the front of the vehicle, with two flashing lights colored orange and green at the front of the roof. When the horn is honked, sirens play instead of a horn. The car bears a strong strong resemblance to the real life 1963 Checker Superba, but elongated. It also sports side exhausts.

Tips[]

The Hearse is the most versatile vehicle in the game. Its speed and acceleration are extremely high, allowing to rush through missions very efficiently, and its great handling allows it to cut corners without losing speed. The good toughness and mass also make it a viable choice for Destroy Objectives, absorbing and dealing high amounts of damage whenever necessary. The Hearse's stat total is unparalleled, and is an indicator that its stats are the most well-rounded of any vehicle in the game.

Appearances[]

The Hearse is first seen during Level 7. The Hearse replaces the standard police cars used during a Hit & Run, replaces the next player character during the Circuit and Sprint races, and can be purchased from Gil for 750 Doublecoins.

Trivia[]

  • The Hearses that chase the player during a Hit & Run in Level 7 have no drivers. Whether this was intentional or not is unknown, but it might be because it is a ghost car for the Halloween theme of the level.
  • When the player starts to buy the Hearse from Gil and takes a look at its model while spinning around, you can see that the left side has a messed-up texture, which is actually its left-side door and wheel. This is an issue that the game developers made.
